Café Brisa Serena is back! We’ve offered coffee from this co-op since our first year of operation.

This lot has been consistent year to year, offering a comforting daily cup with a classic washed profile full of crisp green fruit impressions (green apple, lime).

This particular lot comes from 10 producers in the village of Ducurai, Ermera municipality, under the guidance of operational manager Armando ‘Ano’ de Araujo.

As a co-op, Café Brisa Serena is a social enterprise formed in 2010 in collaboration with the NGO Peace Winds Japan. PWJ had begun its work redeveloping Timor-Leste’s coffee-growing areas not long after the country’s formal independence in 2002.
