Ethiopia Musa Abalulesa Washed G1

Ethiopia Musa Abalulesa Washed G1
Summer is for Ethiopian coffees!
Musa Abalulesa, along with his brothers Musa and Gugu, manage a few sizable farms in the Agaro Lima region of Ethiopia. This particular washed lot consists of cherries grown by Musa and 21 smallholders from the surrounding area.
Export liberalization in 2016 allowed certain producers like Musa to gain export licenses and sell directly instead of having to go through the Ethiopian Commodity Exchange. That year, US importer Crop to Cup became Musa’s first direct client, a relationship that’s continued to the present.
Besides farming organically, Musa also grow avocados and keep honey bees to diversify his income.
This is quintessential washed Ethiopia, with fresh stone fruits, citrus, and jasmine impressions, all with a precision and elegance that typify high-grade lots from the birthplace of Arabica.
